About
I’m a registered clinical psychologist and certified yoga teacher with over 20 years' experience working in the mental health field in both the UK and New Zealand.
Completing my clinical training in the UK, I found myself an accidental immigrant to Aotearoa New Zealand in my early thirties after taking a year out and becoming seduced by the rawness of nature, the wildness of the ocean, and a simpler way of life on the opposite side of the globe. The land of the long white cloud opened up a connection with nature and spirituality that had bypassed my younger city-living self. There was no turning back.

My therapy practice is currently based in Central Auckland, where I specialise in mindfulness and compassion-based therapies, somatic psychology, and trauma healing. I have a strong interest in the mind-body connection and the links between health challenges, chronic stress, and trauma.
My yoga teacher training, and daily yoga practice, have brought an additional layer of resources to the therapeutic work. I integrate Eastern and Western teachings and philosophy in a way that is grounded, accessible, and evidence-based, supporting people to build skills and practices to optimise physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.

Healing is the process of meeting, softening, and releasing the layers that obscure our underlying, innate wholeness.
